Get ready for one of the most anticipated weekends of the Clear Lake season—the legendary Black Light Olympics!
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of lake life, friendly competition, glowing parties, and summer memories with the YSC crew. Whether you’re a returning Olympian or joining for the first time, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
What to Expect
Spend your days enjoying everything Clear Lake has to offer. Relax on the dock, swim in the lake, float with friends, go on a boat for tubing or wakeboarding, try stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy a weekend away from the city.
On Saturday, the competition begins!
Attendees will be divided into teams representing different countries and will compete in a series of fun, creative, and sometimes ridiculous Olympic challenges. Team jerseys, flags, face paint, costumes, and national pride are highly encouraged. Expect plenty of laughs, friendly rivalry, and bragging rights for the winning team.
As the sun goes down, we’ll transform the lake into a glowing playground. Black lights, glow sticks, neon colors, and great music will set the stage for our signature Black Light Party. Wear white or neon clothing and get ready to light up the night.
This is one of our biggest party weekends of the year, so please expect drinking, music, and festivities that may continue late into the evening.
Good to Know
Whether you’re bringing a tent or planning to sleep under the stars, we’ve got you covered. If you don’t have camping gear, simply bring a sleeping bag and pillow. Sleeping mats and mattresses will be available.
If it’s your first time at Clear Lake, please check in with Lala when you arrive.
To help make the weekend run smoothly, everyone is expected to contribute. We will have a chore sign-up sheet with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, setup, and general support. During the official Saturday check-in, we’ll confirm that everyone has signed up for at least one task. Teamwork makes the party work!

Members may bring up to four guests. If you’re planning to bring a large group, please contact Lala to help coordinate.
What to Bring
- Sleeping bag & pillow
- Towel & swimsuit & flip flops
- Sunscreen
- White or neon clothes for the black light party
- Drinks of choice (please avoid glass bottles)
- Tent or sleep under the stars
- Cooler & floaties
- Mattresses will be available. Please return them neatly before departing.

Arrival & Departure
Most attendees arrive Friday afternoon or evening.
Please note: Friday dinner is not provided, so eat on the way up or bring something to cook.
Departure is typically Sunday by 2PM.

CLEAR LAKE DOCK RENOVATION PROJECT
We are also graciously requesting any donations to the Clear Lake Dock Renovation Project. After a very successful section new build and replacement this spring, we are hoping to raise enough funds to replace the remaining dock sections before the beginning of the 2024 CL season.
Any amount will bring us one cent closer to achieving a much needed facelift for everyone to enjoy a more comfortable, modern cooking experience at our Clear Lake Cabin.
