Halloween Bonfire at Ocean Beach
What: Indian Summer Bonfire
When: Friday October 25, 20243, at 5pm PDT – 9 PM PDT
Where: Ocean Beach Fire Pits, Great Highway
It is time again for one of our most popular events, hosted by long-time club member Stein Petersen.
Join us on Oct. 25th for another Indian Summer bonfire celebration on Ocean Beach. Bring your favorite choice of libation & snacks to the beach for sharing – Remember no glass or bottle in hand is allowed on the beach, bring plastic cups/bev containers (no wine or beer glass bottles out in the open, be discreet)!!
Remember to dress warmly and in layers or at least bring it as a backup. The Pacific ocean winds almost always rescind after sunset.
Ocean Beach fires must be out by 9:30 PM, please make sure you don’t leave any GARBAGE on the beach!!
What to Bring: Your favorite choice of libation, plastic cups/containers, beach blanket or chair, extra firewood, snacks, musical instrument / singing voice & warm clothes.
Directions: We will be on the beach to the north by the stationary bonfire pits across from Beach Chalet, Stairwell 17 – look for the oldest flag in the world, the Danish Dannebro flag. Unload @ Ocean Beach parking lot and then park on
Lincoln or Fulton and walk down
.
