Spend Labor Day Weekend at Clear Lake for a special family-friendly weekend of water, music, and summer fun!
This weekend is all about trying something new, enjoying the lake, and spending time together. Kids and adults can get out on the water, learn a new watersport, make some music, or simply relax and enjoy one last summer weekend at Clear Lake.
Water Fun
We’ll have a boat available throughout the weekend with opportunities to learn and play on the water, including:
- Waterskiing
- Tubing
- Kneeboarding
- Wakeboarding
- Wakesurfing
- Wakeskating
- Wakefoiling
- Swimming
- Paddleboarding & kayaking
Beginners are welcome! Whether it’s your first time behind a boat or you’re ready to try something new, this weekend is all about learning, having fun, and getting out on the water.
And if watersports aren't your thing, no problem—relax on the dock, go for a swim, paddle around the lake, or simply enjoy the sunshine and lake life.
For our youngest lake lovers, we'll also have a kiddie pool so they can splash and play safely on shore.
School of Rock
Off the water, it’s time to make some noise!
Kids will have the opportunity to try guitar, bass, piano, and singing and learn from some of our musical YSC members.
Those who want to participate can even come together to start a band and perform Saturday night, including a special appearance with Ocean Beach!
No musical experience is needed, just come ready to learn, play, and have fun.
Family Friendly – All Ages Welcome!
This weekend is designed to be one of our most family-friendly Clear Lake events and is open to Young Scandinavians of all ages.
Bring the kids, family, and friends for a relaxed weekend where everyone can find something to enjoy, from watersports and music to swimming, games, and simply hanging out by the lake.
Good to Know
Whether you're bringing a tent or planning to sleep under the stars, we've got you covered. Mattresses are provided, just bring a sleeping bag and pillow.
To help make the weekend run smoothly, everyone is asked to sign up for at least one chore upon arrival. Tasks include cooking, cleaning, setup, and general support. Teamwork makes the weekend work!

Arrival & Departure
Most attendees arrive Friday afternoon or evening.
Please note that Friday dinner is not provided, so please eat on the way or bring something to cook when you arrive.
