The Arboretum in Napa was alive with energy and excitement last Wednesday as the Swedish Food Pop-Up made its debut to a bustling crowd of eager food enthusiasts. The event was curated by the @Black_cat_cocktails team—Solveig Barnes Peete and her husband Kyle Peete—and showcased the rich and comforting flavors of Sweden, drawing in a steady stream of guests throughout the evening.
The atmosphere was electric, with the kitchen buzzing as orders flew in and beautifully plated dishes emerged. The menu featured five thoughtfully curated items, each highlighting the unique and decadent flavors of Swedish cuisine. From savory classics to sweet indulgences, the offerings were a hit, with nearly every dish selling out by the end of the night.
Guests raved about the experience, praising both the quality of the food and the lively, welcoming vibe of the pop-up. The combination of expertly crafted dishes and the charming setting of The Arboretum created an unforgettable dining experience.
Due to the overwhelming success of the event, they hope to host more pop-ups in the future.
